Mes Que Paraules Blanc is a fine dry white wine from Sauvignon blanc, Picapoll , and blanc de noir from red Mandó . Both fruity and fresh as well as round and ripe. Uncomplicated tasty and also elegant. Citrus with pear and melon, round and rich in taste. This wine comes from the area of ​​Barcelona, ​​from the DO Pla de Bages .

Local heroes: Picapoll and Mandó

This Mes Que Paraules Blanc contains 2 local grapes: Picapoll and Mandó. Picapoll is also known as Picpoul in the Languedoc. Mandó is very rare and a blue grape. It is a cross between Graciano and Macabeo. First a blanc de noir, so a white wine, is made from it and then blended with Sauvignon and Picapoll.

Picapoll / Picpoul gives extra freshness to the wine. Picapoll almost disappeared in Spain because of the phylloxera. But it thrives in the sandy soils in Pla de Bages, where you don't have that problem.
