Wine made from Fendant (Chasselas / Gutedel). Completely different from Alsace or Baden. Fendant aka Gutedel aka Chasselas

Beautiful dry white wine from Fendant aka Gutedel aka Chasselas. Winery Domaine de Beudon works biodynamically. Mountain wine from the Alps from vineyards at 700-900m altitude. Only accessible via private cable car or a small donkey path. Hence: Vignes dans le ciel , vineyards in heaven. Very labor-intensive and worth every euro.
This Fendant has fine white fruit, mineral, tension through acids and bitters, long. Spontaneous fermentation on stainless steel, malolactic fermentation and 1 year maturation on the lees, without batonnage. This wine from Switzerland is made biodynamically and went unfiltered in the bottle.
