Grüner Veltliner for advanced users. Rich and full, lots of minerality, the typical pepper wrapped in yellow fruit, fine acids and bitters. Complex rich wine with quince, meadow flowers, green tea, beeswax and some smoke tones. Elegant and deep, long finish.  Great wine. Excitingly good.

Wine from Herbert Zillinger who makes biodynamic wine in the Weinviertel. From his oldest vines, matured for 1 year on the lees and another year in the bottle. Great wine, wine for keeping. Herbert Zillinger makes wine in the Weinviertel on the border with Slovakia. Master of Wine Jancis Robinson is a big fan of Zillinger.
