Domaine Gauffroy Marc & Fils à Meursault
Domaine Gauffroy Marc & fils is a family estate since 1938, located in the world-famous wine town of Meursault in Burgundy (C ô te de Beaune). Nicolas Gauffroy now represents the 3rd generation of wine growers.
Domaine Gauffroy uses traditional winemaking methods to optimally express the terroir and the grape. The wines therefore undergo as little treatment as possible. And the maturation of the wines is carried out with very few new barrels to preserve the identity and typicity of the terroir and to preserve grapes.
This Chardonnay wine is the base Meursault of Gauffroy. He also makes wines in Meursault from the lieu-dits Les Charmes (Premier Cru), Le Limozin, Sous la Velle and Les Tillets. Nicolas Gauffroy also makes beautiful wines in other Burgundy appellations, such as Saint-Romain and Auxey-Duresses.
