Olivin Zweigelt, Winkler-Hermaden, volcanic wine

Beautiful Zweigelt, organic dry red wine from Austria. Named after Olivine , an olive-green mineral found in the volcanic soil here. This has become a true cult wine from Winkler-Hermaden from Vulkanland-Steiermark, in the far southeast of Austria. Top top top Zweigelt. Period. Full dry red wine with cherries, herbs and some tobacco in the nose. Firm but ripe tannins, freshness, fleshy and full. Beautiful aftertaste. Tastes like more, more, more! Serve: 16-17 °C. Drink: now until 2030 or even longer.
