Top wine from Silvaner. This is a very big wine from leading VDP member and top 3 winery Hans Wirsching from Franconia. GGG stands for Grosses Gewächs or Grand Cru. The Lage Julius-Echter-Berg has the characteristic Keuper soil. But compared to the Lagen Kalb and Kronsberg, Julius-Echter-Berg has the most enclosed mineral-rich rocks. This gives the wines from this Lage even more depth and tension. Wirsching also applies batonnage to all wines, which gives the wines a wonderful softness that also works very gastronomically.

Crazy beautiful wine from Silvaner. Rich, powerful, ripe, complex. Aromas and flavors of ripe pear, mango, hazelnut, anise, fennel, herbs. Tension and minerality, long finish. Great wine. Serve: 13 C. Drink: now until 2028+
