Cava Fosil Reserva, Duran Galan, Penedes . An incredibly beautiful Cava Reserva from the Duran Galan winery. It transcends ordinary Cava. Rich, ripe, and layered, deep with fine acidity, a lovely mousse, and a wonderful aroma and flavor of nuts, ripe apple, brioche, and toast. It could easily be a good Champagne. And if it is, this is a bargain!
Made from the classic Cava grapes Macabeu, Parellada , and Xarel-lo. Sparkling wine from the Penedes region near Barcelona, Spain.
This is a Reserva Brut Nature , meaning it's aged longer and without dosage—a truly dry wine. This Cava even aged for over 60 months on its lees for added depth and complexity.

Cava, much more interesting than you think
