Nice juice!? Wine is chic, isn't it?

Lekker Sapje ​​mainly supplies wine to people with a sense of humor . Of course it is fun to be very elitist about wine. In the trade we call that label drinkers. Overpriced wines of great name and fame. But in the end you just want to enjoy deliciously or nicely , right? You will certainly succeed with my wines!

At Lekker Sapje ​​you will find adventurous, special, beautiful but above all delicious wines, directly from the (organic or biodynamic) winemaker. These are both tasty wines for every day or night, as well as jewels to be enjoyed with attention. I work exclusively with nice and good winemakers with passion and a sustainable vision, without blabla.

Why the name Lekker Sapje?

During the vinologist training, you taste with fellow students in a local tasting group every week. When we were sniffing, swirling and tasting, we would shout at something nice in the glass: wow, this is a nice juice! I thought, if everyone in the wine world takes a fancy name, I won't do that. In accordance with an old advertising wisdom: "if everybody zigs, zags" , or: if everyone swims to the left, then swim to the right. That way you'll stand out more quickly.

What do I have to offer with Lekker Sapje?

I mainly offer wines from Germany, Austria, Portugal and Spain. But I also have wines from France, Hungary, Italy and Switzerland. I always look for 'tasty juices' from renowned and upcoming wineries with a pleasant price and ditto quality. All wines are sustainable, organic or biodynamic and our winegrowers are nice people. Furthermore, I look for good wines with a somewhat manageable percentage of alcohol. Preferably not higher than 14%, with a few exceptions.

All wines are also vegan . This means that the wines are clarified without the use of proteins (in the past even with blood). Nowadays, winemakers use bentonite for clarification, a fluffy material made from clay. As it sinks to the bottom, it takes all the floating particles in the must with it. What remains is then clear juice.
