Al jaren ben ik op zoek naar echt mooie Elzas-wijnen. De grote namen hebben allemaal al een importeur dus wie maakt wijnen op hetzelfde niveau maar is nog vrij? Op een beurs kwam ik een vrolijke wijnmaker tegen: Paul Humbrecht. En wow wat een gave wijnen!

There are quite a few winemakers in the Nahe called Schneider. So pay close attention to grandfather Schneider's initials: KH The German wine guides for 2023 are full of praise if not lyrical : such as Eichelmann, Vinum, Falstaff, Stuart Pigott . Grandsons Andi and Christoph, however, are the epitome of modesty, Christoph works the vineyards and Andi 'kümmert sich' to make wine. Their style: kick-ass Riesling above all.
