Niellucciu, Terra Nostra, Corsica. French wine from Corsica. Full-bodied dry red wine from the Nielluciu grape. Similar and related to Sangiovese. But spicier and with lots of ripe black forest fruit. Fine acidity and soft tannins. This makes it nice and accessible and a real food wine. Just a tough Corsican with spirit. Red wine from Corsica from the Nielluciu grape. Dry red wine with a stubborn character. Spicy, fleshy, lots of ripe forest fruit. Very accessible and gastronomic. Winery is Terra Nostra (Vignerons Corsicasn - UVAL) from Borgo. Nielluciu is related to the well known Sangiovese wine grape from Italy. But this red wine from Niellucciu is a bit spicier and fuller.
