Sauvignon blanc Kapfenstein, Winkler-Hermaden. Dry white wine from Austria. Specifically from the Vulkanland-Steiermark wine region. This region is known for very fine Sauvignon Blanc wines. This one from Winkler-Hermaden has a beautiful full and pure style, rich, fruity and at the same time softly fresh.
This is an organic white wine with a delicate structure, typical Sauvignon aromas of boxwood, grass, green apples. Also nicely spicy and salty. So totally different from, for example, Sancerre or New Zealand. Enjoy!

Winkler-Hermaden, Vulkanland-Steiermark

Not so well-known, but Vulkanland-Steiermark is a top wine region for incredibly beautiful Sauvignon Blanc. And Winkler-Hermaden is considered one of the best wineries. It is located atop an ancient volcano with stunning panoramic views. The volcanic soil contains many minerals, and Sauvignon thrives there. The 4th generation is now at the helm, with three brothers working closely together. Organic wine.
