Description

Deep Blue Blanc de Noir by Tesch from the Nahe. Exceptionally beautiful dry white wine from blue grapes - blanc de noir - from Spätburgunder (Pinot noir). Extract-rich, full-bodied and yet very subtle and elegant. Very nice with fish and caviar.

Excitement and sensation from the Nahe! This dry white wine Deep Blue from Tesch - a blanc de noir from Spätburgunder - has an elegant nose of red berries and a pinch of raspberry. In the mouth first soft and round, with currant and gooseberry. And then fine acidity, mini tannins with a bitter touch open and everything dances around.

Deep Blue, shark teeth in the vineyard

The Nahe is a particularly interesting wine region in Germany. The soil here is very diverse due to large volcanic activity, millions of years ago. There was also a large sea here. This causes limescale deposits of shells. And Martin Tesch still finds large shark teeth of extinct Jaws types! Tesch has vineyards near the village of Langelois, on the east side of the Nahe wine region.

Interesting
Deep Blue is a white wine made from blue grapes, a blanc de noir. Named after the sea that once lay here; you can still find shark teeth between the vines.
