Demuerte De Luxe, Yecla is a unique Spanish wine! A full-bodied, dry red Spanish wine made from Monastrell, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. Wine from the Spanish winery Winery On, from the DO Yecla, known for the Monastrell grape (Mourvèdre). This full-bodied and rich red wine has flavors of berries, cherries, and herbs, and is also beautifully fresh. The Petit Verdot adds minerality and refined elegance. Monastrell is the grape of choice for red wine in the Yecla wine region. It's hot here – a continental climate – but thankfully, it does cool down at night. This maintains the freshness of the wine. Monastrell thrives in Yecla and produces full-bodied, robust wines. The grape is also known as Mourvèdre in the Languedoc and Provence regions. For example, the famous Bandol wine (red and rosé) is made from it.
