Demuerte White

Verdejo is best known as the Spanish Sauvignon Blanc. It's often blended with Sauvignon Blanc, as is the case with this wine. Verdejo is widely grown in Rueda, but that's not the only wine region where you'll find it. Winery On produces wine in Yecla , influenced by the local Mediterranean climate. This gives this wine a bit more roundness and spice than in Rueda.

Demuerte means something like super cool, awesome, and cool. This Spanish wine is fantastic! The trendy winery Winery On in Yecla specializes in red wines made from Monastrell (Mourvèdre), blended with one or more other red grapes. The chalky soil gives the wines freshness and minerality. Winemaker Pablo Cortés is highly experienced and has worked at various wineries at a high level. He also studied at the prestigious Royal Agricultural University, where he attended classes with Prince Harry . His wife, Karel Eissner, is an internationally active graphic designer and designed the unique and striking labels .
