Sauvignon Blanc Kapfenstein, Winkler-Hermaden . Dry white wine from Austria. Specifically, from the Vulkanland-Steiermark wine region. This region is known for its excellent Sauvignon Blanc wines. This one from Winkler-Hermaden has a wonderfully full and pure style —rich, fruity, and yet softly refreshing.
This is an organic white wine with a delicate structure, typical Sauvignon blanc aromas of boxwood, grass, and green apples. It's also pleasantly spicy and salty. So completely different from, say, Sancerre or New Zealand. Enjoy!

Winkler-Hermaden, Vulkanland-Styria

Not so well-known, but Vulkanland-Steiermark is a top wine region for stunning Sauvignon Blanc. And Winkler-Hermaden is considered one of the best wineries. It sits atop an ancient volcano with stunning views all around. The volcanic soil is rich in minerals, and the Sauvignon Blanc thrives there. The fourth generation is now at the helm; three brothers work closely together. Organic wine.
