Supply-Royer, Les 6 Feuillettes, Languedoc. A remarkable Syrah. Rich and ripe black cherries, spicy, beautifully oaked, and flowing tannins. As is often the case with Marie-Ange Royer and Eric Supply, this is a cuvée that doesn't hide the grape variety. Vinification and aging are done in the traditional Burgundian way, in wooden barrels, for eight months.

Supply-Royer, a mini winery with cult status

This small wine estate (5 hectares) enjoys true cult status . Eric Supply was born in Languedoc, but worked for over 10 years as a winemaker and cellar master for the renowned Domaine Roulot winery (Meursault, Burgundy).

With his wife , Marie-Ange Royer, he returned to Arboras. It's located near the Terasses du Larzac , not far from Mas Jullien, where they produce stunning wines under the IGP Pays d'Hérault Mont Baudile . Burgundian-style wine: single-varietal wines, complete malolactic fermentation for whites, and aging in oak barrels.

Their first wine—from 2002—was immediately striking: 100% Bourboulenc, from old vines. With classic Burgundian aging: approximately 18 months in barriques, some of which are new. Just like in Burgundy, this white wine is aged on the fine lees.

Carefully supervised vinification

Domaine Supply Royer wines are aged in the heart of Marie-Ange and Éric's estate, in Burgundian oak barrels in a dedicated space. For the white wines, these are new barrels. No racking (soutirage) is used to preserve the distinctive character of these sun-drenched wines.

For the red wines, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats. They are then aged in barrels from the Ermitage cooperage, selected for their optimal quality. An average of two soutirages are also performed for red wines to refine their structure.

Bottling is done by hand and gravity. This demonstrates the care Éric and Marie-Ange take in every detail to guarantee the excellence of their wines. The white wines are only lightly filtered. The red wines are unfiltered to preserve their characteristic richness.

Supply-Royer wines are true age-friendly wines with great finesse. Production is minimal. They produce only 5,000 to 6,000 bottles per year, divided into 7 or 8 cuvées. So, often only a few hundred bottles per wine. So be quick!
