Domaine Aviet, Jura, France

Jura: tradition and originality

Domaine Aviet is based in the Jura, the small but unique wine region in Eastern France between Burgundy and Switzerland. The Jura is known for its indigenous grape varieties and the oxidative sous voile winemaking style — a technique in which the wine ages under a layer of yeast, developing its characteristic nutty, complex character.

Savagnin, Chardonnay, and Trousseau

Domaine Aviet works with the typical grape varieties of the Jura: Savagnin for the oxidative, nutty white wines for which the region is famous, Chardonnay in both oxidative and fresher ouillé styles, and Trousseau for elegant, light red wines with red fruit and a mineral finish.

Authentic Jura craftsmanship

Domaine Aviet is a traditional Jura producer that proudly preserves the distinctiveness of the region.
