Domaine de Beudon, Valais, Switzerland

Valais: spectacular wines on rocky terraces
Domaine de Beudon is located in the Swiss Valais, the narrow, sunny Alpine valley along the Rhône that is known for its high sun intensity, dry climate, and dramatic slopes. Valais is the largest wine region in Switzerland and is home to unique indigenous varieties that are not grown anywhere else in the world.
Biodynamic at spectacular heights
Domaine de Beudon operates entirely biodynamically and cultivates its vineyard on rocky terraces at an altitude of approximately 900 meters — only accessible by cable car. The vineyard enjoys maximum sun exposure and features a distinct terroir of gneiss and slate. The wines are powerful, mineral-driven, and have a distinct mountain character.
Indigenous varieties of Valais
Domaine de Beudon works with indigenous varieties such as Petite Arvine, Humagne, and Cornalin — varieties that are grown almost exclusively in the Valais and yield wines of great originality.
