Domaine La Croix d’Aline is located in St. Chinian, an appellation in the western part of Languedoc in Southern France. St. Chinian is a mountainous region with a great diversity of soils — from schist and shale in the north to limestone and clay in the south — that results in wines of great complexity and character.

Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre

Domaine La Croix d’Aline works with the classic red grape varieties of the Midi: Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre. On the schist soils of St. Chinian, these varieties produce spicy, mineral-driven red wines with ripe dark fruit, wild herbs (garrigue) and a dry, long finish.
