Domaine Supply-Royer, Languedoc, France

This mini-estate of just 5 ha enjoys a true cult status. Eric Supply was born in the Languedoc but worked for more than 10 years as a winemaker at Domaine Roulot (Meursault, Burgundy). With his wife Marie-Ange Royer, he returned to Arboras near Terrasses du Larzac.
Burgundian style in the Languedoc
Supply-Royer makes wine in a Burgundian style: single-varietals, full malolactic fermentation, aging in new oak barrels from the Ermitage cooperage. White wines are aged on the fine lees. Unfiltered (red) or very lightly filtered (white). Only 5000-6000 bottles per year, spread across 7-8 cuvées — often just a few hundred bottles per wine.
