Duran-Galan is a small, independent producer in Penedès, the wine region south of Barcelona that is the cradle of Cava — the Spanish méthode traditionnelle. Duran-Galan crafts Cava with a distinct character of its own: artisanal, terroir-driven, and far removed from the large industrial producers.

Cava at its best

Duran-Galan's Cavas are made from indigenous Catalan varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeu, and Parellada — the classic base of Cava — with careful aging on the lees that provides complexity and fine bubbles. Fresh, dry, and authentically Catalan.

Small-scale and personal
