Weissburgunder Kirchberg , Ecker . Rich Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc, Pinot Bianco) from Ecker. White wine from the Wagram wine region (Danubeland ) in Austria. Full-bodied and rich dry white wine with yellow apple, floral honey, nutty notes, spicy, round, balanced, and finesse. Mild acidity provides layering and complexity. A truly excellent wine!

This Weissburgunder comes from the top vineyard Ried Kirchberg (formerly Schlossberg) with its rich loess soil. It's made from old vines from 1990. Vinified in stainless steel and aged in large, old, neutral acacia barrels. But all you really need to remember is: Ecker is delicious.

Wagram is the wine region. It was formerly called Donauland. The Danube River flows right through it, hence its name. The name Wagram derives from the Old Germanic "Wochenrain," which means "riverbank." The Wagram is nestled between the Wachau, Kremstal, and Kamptal valleys to the west and the capital, Vienna, to the east.
