Weissburgunder Schlossberg, Ecker. Rich Weissburgunder (Pinot blanc) from Ecker from the Wagram in Austria. Full and rich dry white wine with yellow apple, flower honey, nutty tones, spicy, round, balance and finesse. Mild acids provide layering and complexity. Actually a very good wine!

Weissburgunder Schlossberg, Ecker, Wagram. Ecker is... lecker
This Weissburgunder comes from the top vineyard Ried Schlossberg with rich loess soil. And from old vines from 1990. Vinification on stainless steel and maturation on large, old, neutral acacia barrels. But actually you only have to remember: Ecker is delicious.
Wagram is the wine region. It used to be called Donauland. The Danube flows right through it, hence. The name Wagram comes from the old Germanic 'Wochenrain' which means riverbank. The Wagram is wedged between Wachau, Kremstal and Kamptal in the west and the capital Vienna in the east.
