German red wine from wine queen Julia Bertram and Benedikt Baltes . A truly classy Ahr wine. Dry red wine made from Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). Red berries, strawberry, forest after a rainstorm, and earthy notes. This wine also boasts beautiful acidity and structure thanks to fine, ripe tannins. Elegant balance with plenty of depth. Spontaneously fermented, matured in large oak barrels, and unfiltered. It's wonderful to explore the terroir differences with her Dernauer Spätburgunder! Julia Bertram works with her husband, Benedikt Baltes. She tends the vineyards, he the cellar. Bertram-Baltes has been officially organic since 2020.
