This red wine comes from the DO Yecla in southeastern Spain near Valencia. Demuerte means something like "the bomb, super cool, awesome." And that applies not only to the unique label but also to this wine! Try the other wines from the Demeurte series.

Monastrell (Mourvèdre) and Syrah

Monastrell is the grape of choice for red wine in the Yecla wine region. It's hot here – a continental climate – but thankfully, it does cool down at night. This maintains the freshness of the wine. Monastrell thrives in Yecla and produces full-bodied, robust wines. In Languedoc and Provence, the grape is also known as Mourvèdre. For example, the famous Bandol wine (red and rosé) is made from it.

Syrah (or Shiraz) is a well-known Rhône grape. It's recognizable by its white pepper, cherry, and blackberry notes. Syrah also produces robust, powerful wines. It also handles heat well.

This red wine comes from the DO Yecla in Spain (near Valencia and Alicante) and is from Winery On, specialists in Monastrell . They operate sustainably and are currently converting to organic. The vineyards are situated at altitudes of 300-600 meters. Winery On harvests by hand.

Winemaker Pablo Cortés is highly experienced and has worked at various wineries at a high level. He also studied at the prestigious Royal Agricultural University, where he attended classes with Prince Harry . His wife, Karel Eissner, is an internationally active graphic designer. She designed the unique and striking labels .
