Vital, rare old grape variety

A delicious dry white wine from Portugal. This white wine is made from Vital, a rare, local, and ancient grape variety. Vital was used in blends to give wine more freshness. Casal Figueira demonstrates that Vital also produces a surprisingly beautiful single-varietal wine. It resembles Chenin Blanc but has a distinctive Portuguese character.

Antonio was the winemaker who made Vital shine again. This wine is subtle, intriguing, elegant, and full of tension. Unique and downright delicious. A biodynamic wine from old vines with low yields.
