Description
Aprémont La Colombelle, Richel, Savoie. This Aprémont from Richel is a typical mountain wine. With a seductive bouquet of green apples. In the mouth you taste a combination of crystal clear mineral tones with crisp fresh acids. And a light sweetness in the aftertaste.
The grape is called Jacquére and is typical for Savoie. The vines are about 75 years old and are on a chalky clay soil. Richel 'works' the soil with sheep. No pesticides or manure are used. This keeps the yield low. The fermentation is spontaneous on rvs, no malo. Maturation on the lees, also on rvs, 6-12 months.

Aprémont, mountain wine from the Alps.
Just outside Chambéry lies the idyllic village of Aprémont . This wine region produces the best wines from Savoie. The vineyards are located high on the foothills of the Alps of the tri-border area of France, Italy and Switzerland. As a result, wines from Savoie are pleasantly light and fresh. And the cooler climate also allows winemakers in this area to produce excellent sparkling wines such as Crémant de Savoie and Cerdons .
Family Richel
Christophe Richel has slowly but surely taken over the management of the company from his father Bernard over the past 10 years. He does this with dizzying enthusiasm and great craftsmanship . His son Matthieu has now also joined the party. A real family business.
