Bacchus lives up to his name

Bacchus is often seen as the German version of Sauvignon Blanc. But this wine is a lot fruitier and especially rounder. Bacchus is a cross between Silvaner x Riesling and that again x Müller-Thurgau . Fresh, super fruity with grapefruit, passion fruit, lychee, pineapple and peach. Half-dry but still not very sweet. Delicious juicy wine!

Cabinet or 'Kabi'

Delicious semi-dry white wine from the wine region in central Germany, east of Frankfurt. This is a Kabinett QmP , Qualitätswein mit Prädikat. Which means that the wine is not completely dry. The 'Kabi' as it is affectionately called, is completely hip & happening again!

Taste
This is delicious! Full fruity flavours of grapefruit, lychee, pineapple, peach and passion fruit. And at the same time nicely semi-dry with round acids.

Delicious with
Salads, fresh vegetable dishes, chicken, white fish, lighter Asian and spicy Mediterranean dishes.

Interesting
Bacchus is a special cross between Riesling and Silvaner. This grape is then crossed with Müller-Thurgau which is itself a cross!
