Description
Bacchus Kabinett, Storr, dessert wine. A beautiful sweet white wine from Germany. A brilliant dessert wine made from the little-known Bacchus grape, named after the Roman god of wine. A beautiful sweet-sour interplay, truly delicious! Bacchus is a cross of (Silvaner x Riesling) x Müller-Thurgau. Müller-Thurgau itself is a cross, by the way.
A delicious sweet white wine from Germany. If you're named after the wine god Bacchus himself, you're bound to have something special! And this delightful white dessert wine certainly does: a beautiful interplay of sweet and sour, round and full, with a long finish. This sweet white wine comes from the Rheinhessen wine region.

Cabinet, what does that mean?
In Germany, you often see additions like Kabinett (colloquially: Kabi) , Spätlese, and Auslese on wine labels. These are official terms that indicate the sugar content of the must—the grape juice—before fermentation. The sugar content increases in order, from Kabinett, Spätlese, Auslese, Beerenauslese, to Trockenbeerenauslese. Lese means harvest.
