Beaune, Cuvée Jean Marc, Capuano-Ferreri, Burgundy. Red French wine from Pinot noir . Wine from Capuano-Ferreri from the Beaune appellation in Burgundy. The Beaune Cuvée Jean Marie is full and firm with ripe red and black fruit, forest, fleshy with medium tannins. This red wine certainly has finesse but is really full (in wine terms: corsated). This is therefore one of the richer wines from the Capuano-Ferreri winery.

Beaune is the 'capital' of the Côte de Beaune. And of the whole of Burgundy.

The pleasant town of Beaune is located in the middle of Burgundy and is considered the capital of this wine region. This wine region starts a lot further north with the Chablis , known for its 'oyster wine'. This is a tight and fresh Chardonnay that goes well with oysters and fish. Further south, near the village of Fixin, an elongated strip begins that forms the largest part of Burgundy. This is called the C ô te d'Or , the gold coast.

From Fixin to just above Beaune runs the C ô te de Nuits, named after the village of Nuits-St. Georges. The part around Beaune to Marsannay is called the C ô te de Beaune. Further south you will find the C ô te Chalonnaise and the Maconnais with the village of St. Vérand as its southern border. Below that begins the Beaujolais, which by the way also officially belongs to Burgundy.
