Cava, but really good

Cava is the classic sparkling wine from Spain. A beautiful dry Cava from Spain's most beautiful Cava region: the Penedes near Barcelona. Wonderfully full and rich, from the traditional Cava grapes Xarel-lo, Parellada, and Macabeo. Beautiful fruit and yeast notes, Joan Segura Pujadas beats many Champagnes, and for a great price! Cava Brut Nature Reserva, so extra-long matured and dosage-free.

Interesting to know: the DO Cava isn't limited to the Penedes region—which, incidentally, is where most cava comes from. Throughout the country, there are vineyards that also fall under the DO Cava.

Penedes is best known as a Cava area. There are wine regions throughout Spain that carry DO Cava. Cava wine gets -just like Champagne and Winzersekt- a second fermentation in the bottle. Reserva matures for at least 18 months on the lees. This gives fine mousse and yeast tones.
