Classic French wine from Pinot noir by the excellent winemaker Jean-Pierre Maldant. You don't see this appellation very often and that's why it's fun to taste it!
This wine is from the lieu-dit (named vineyard) Les Beaumonts with a chalky clay soil. Matured on oak (piece, 225l) of which 25% new. Elegant, fine red fruit, soft tannins. French red wine from Pinot Noir, the classic red Burgundy grape.

Taste
Fine subtle red wine of Pinot noir with raspberry, black cherries, herbs and a lick of pepper. Ripe round tannins and slightly fresh. Serve: 15 C. Drink: now until 2028.

Chorey-les-Beaune is the appellation. This wine comes from the lieu-dit (named place) Les Beaumonts. This means a higher level of wine than without this addition.
