Demuerte One is a full dry red wine. The vines are over 50 years old - partly pre-phylloxera - and therefore give low yields. But of high quality. The soil is mainly limestone. Also the climate is extreme: cold in winter, hot in summer.

Demuerte One is a blend of Monastrell and 10% Cabernet sauvignon, matured in French oak barrels ( barriques ). Firm and rich wine with ripe blackberries, plums, nice structure and ripe tannins.

This red wine comes from the DO Yecla in Spain (near Valencia and Alicante) and is from Winery On, specialists in Monastrell . They work sustainably and are in conversion to organic. The vineyards are at 300-600 m. Winery On harvests by hand.

Winemaker Pablo Cortés is very experienced and worked at a high level at various wineries. He also studied at the prestigious Royal Agricultural University, where he attended classes with Prince Harry . In addition, his wife Karel Eissner is an internationally working graphic designer and designed the special and striking labels .
