Gewürztraminer from volcanic soil

The winemakers of Winkler-Hermaden live in a magnificent wine castle , atop an ancient volcano in the village of Kapfenstein . The soil is naturally volcanic and rich in minerals. The vineyards are located on the slopes of the volcano and also further down in the lower areas near Klöch . That's where this wine originates.
