This Veltliner is made by winemaker Bernhard Ecker from the Wagram wine region (formerly Donauland) in wine country Austria. White wine with fine minerality, apple and pear, white pepper and lots of tension. Full and really very tasty! 4.5 stars at Perswijn (out of 5) . And 90 points out of 100 at Falstaff.

Wagram is located approx. 50 km northwest of Vienna and is rapidly emerging. The Ecker family has been active in wine growing for 300 years. All grapes are hand-picked and strictly selected. Cool fermentation in steel and on large wood.
