Grüner Veltliner Radikal, Herbert Zillinger. Radikal, or uncompromising dry white wine made from Grüner Veltliner by Herbert Zillinger. Top biodynamic wine. Grüner Veltliner for the connoisseur. From 2015, but this is a late release in a small batch.

Rich and full-bodied, much minerality, the typical peppery note enveloped in yellow fruit, fine acidity and bitterness. Complex rich wine with quince, meadow flowers, green tea, beeswax and some smoky notes. Elegant and deep, long finish. Great wine. Excitingly good.

Dry aged white wine. One of the very best Grüner Veltliners from Austria. According to Master of Wine Jancis Robinson, among others. Uncompromising dry white wine from Austria. Wine by Herbert Zillinger who makes biodynamic wine in the Weinviertel. From his oldest vines, aged 1 year on the lees and another year in bottle.
But this is a late release, bottled in 2022!

Great wine, a wine for aging. Herbert Zillinger makes wine in the Weinviertel on the border with Slovakia. Master of Wine Jancis Robinson is a big fan of Zillinger.
