Terra Alta is the birthplace of Grenache blanc and Vins la Botera turns it into this downright delicious wine. Round, velvety, ripe pear, hint of mango, rich full flavor.

Terra Alta, high earth

This dry white wine from Spain is made from Grenache blanc or Garnacha blanca with some Macabeo. By winery Vins la Botera. This delicious creamy wine comes from the DO Terra Alta south of Barcelona in Spain.

Terra Alta literally means high earth and is therefore quite high. The wine region is close to Priorat and is known as the cradle of the white Grenache wine grape (there is also a red one).

This beautiful white wine is round, velvety, with ripe pear, also some mango, rich and full flavor. Lots of wine for your money!
