The Camin Larredya vineyards face south, between 250 and 300 meters above sea level, and are relatively sheltered from westerly winds. Combined with the foehn effect—the hot, drying autumn wind from the Pyrenees—this allows these late-ripening grape varieties to reach perfect ripeness, while retaining excellent acidity.

Jurançon, a small but fine wine region

Jurançon is a relatively small wine region at the foot of the Pyrenees, located south of the city of Pau. It is primarily known for its sweet white wines made from local grapes such as Petit Manseng, Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu , and Camarelet . However, the dry style has become increasingly popular in recent years.
