Malvasia Fina, Maçanita, Douro. Incredibly beautiful dry white wine! Organic white wine from Portugal from the Malvasia Fina grape. Made by Antonio Maçanita, a young but great winemaker. Favorite at several star restaurants. This wine comes from the Douro at an altitude of 700m and from northern slopes. That gives coolness and freshness. Maçanita has been named Portuguese winery of the year 2022 , and rightly so.

Great, unique white wine from top winemaker Maçanita. Interesting Portuguese wine. Fascinating dry white wine from 100% Malvasia Fina (also known as Boal on Madeira). Pure, clear and extremely captivating wine, with elegant complexity. So not too thick, and no wood aging. Well: exciting acids, a touch oxidative, with pear and tropical fruit. This wine comes from northern slopes at 700 m altitude in the Baixo Corgo (Douro wine region).

Great wine! Tension and sensation of the Malvasia fina (Boal) with melon, pear, fresh acidity, edge of oxidation, soft and round and endless aftertaste.

The Malvasia fina is known in Madeira as Boal. Malvasia is actually a whole family of grapes. This comes from a slope facing north, at 700m altitude. That gives coolness and preserves freshness.
