Petit Clos, Clos Canarelli, Figari

Yves Canarelli took over the family business in the 1990s. He transitioned to organic and biodynamic winemaking. He also reintroduced ancient grape varieties with astonishing results. He now farms approximately 30 hectares in Figari (granite) and 5 hectares (rare limestone soil) near Bonifacio. The cellar is ultramodern with temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. There are also oak barriques, casks, and—now trendy again—concrete eggs and amphorae.

Winemaker Yves Canarelli, along with Antoine Arena and Comte Abbatucci , is among Corsica's absolute top performers . Many sommeliers rave about the wines of these Corsican winemakers.
