Description
Pinot blanc Granite, Rieffel, Alsace. Soft Pinot blanc, organic white natural wine from Lucas Rieffel from Mittelbergheim in Alsace (Bas-Rhin). Smells and tastes of ripe yellow fruit, pear, light citrus tone and a hint of smoke and green herbs. Matured for 11 months on large wood. Very fine gastronomic wine. Also try his beautiful Riesling wines.

Lucas Rieffel is the third generation of winemakers in the family and does everything by hand. Rieffel also works organically with respect for and in the service of nature and the terroir. Rieffel works with low yields to achieve the highest possible quality. He presses the grapes for this white wine long and slowly. The vinification takes place on stainless steel, with maturation sur lies (dead yeast cells) with batonnage for extra thickness in the wine. In total, his vineyards in Alsace amount to approx. 10 ha.
