Riesling St. Remigiusberg, Tesch
Another delicious Riesling from Martin Tesch from the Nahe in Germany. Slender dry white German wine from the noble grape Riesling. This is super exciting, layered and rich.
This dry white wine comes from the small vineyard St. Remigiusberg and is the best that Tesch can make of Riesling. He aims to express the terroir of each of his vineyards in the wine.
All Riesling vines are from the same clone. And the winemaking is also done in the same way for each vineyard. So the only difference is the soil. With Riesling you can taste that perfectly.
Dr. Martin Tesch is a microbiologist and therefore knows exactly what the yeasts are up to in his wines. He works extremely precisely and makes no compromises. When he took over the business from his father, he radically changed course. He switched from bland sweet wine to tension and sensation. Crisp dry, mineral, pure terroir expression. With international success.
