Wine from Ecker - Eckhof from the Wagram (formerly Donauland) in Austria. The wine grape Roter Veltliner is not yet so well known, but it is an ancient variety and an absolute must. Just try it! Roter Veltliner from Ecker is deliciously juicy, spicy with pear and Rheine-claude plums and beautiful minerality. Serve: 10 °C. Drink: now until 2028.

Fresh and spicy salads, chicken, carpaccio, white fish, artichoke, asparagus, sauces with a slightly sour taste.

Interesting
Falstaff 88 points. Roter Veltliner is unique to the Wagram and a very old variety. Sensitive type that requires a lot of attention. Not related to Grüner Veltliner. The Wagram wine region is located approx. 50 km northwest of Vienna.
