A very special 100% Roussanne from the higher inland regions of Languedoc, IGP d'Hérault Mont Baudile. Rich, Burgundian—meaning malolactic fermentation and oak-aged. A unique, sought-after wine that ages beautifully. Delicate notes of melon and pear, creamy smooth, yet also tangy with freshness. Beautifully balanced.

This Rousanne comes from a plot Eric Supply bought about ten years ago. The vineyard is located in Saint Saturnin (where Eric was born and raised). This plot is truly special to him because it once belonged to his grandfather, who sold it. Now it's finally back in the family.

The wine is primarily Roussanne, representing the La Roussanne du Bramaïre cuvée. There are also a few rows of Aligoté (Eric's guilty pleasure), a reminder of his time in Burgundy. These give this beautiful white wine a touch of freshness.

Supply-Royer, cult status

This mini-estate (5 hectares) enjoys true cult status . Eric Supply hails from the Languedoc, but worked for over 10 years at the prestigious Domaine Roulot (Meursault, Burgundy). With his wife , Marie-Ange Royer, he returned to Arboras, near Terasses du Larzac , not far from Mas Jullien, where they produce stunning wines. In Burgundian style: single-varietal vinification, complete malolactic fermentation, and oak barrel aging.

Their first wine—from 2002—was immediately striking: 100% Bourboulenc, from old vines, aged in classic Burgundian style: approximately 18 months in barriques, some of which were new. Just like Burgundy, this white wine is aged on its fine lees.

Supply-Royer wines are true age-friendly wines with great finesse. Production is minimal. They produce only 5,000 to 6,000 bottles per year, divided into 7 or 8 cuvées. So, often only a few hundred bottles per wine. So be quick!
