Winery Hans Wirsching is a prominent member of the VDP (Verein Deutsche Prädikatsweingüter) which sets strict requirements for winemakers. This is their Silvaner Ortswein, the middle class so to speak and it is already top! Deliciously creamy wine. Full of ripe fruit of pear and mango, with some herbs. Super tasty juice! Beautiful dry white wine from Germany.

Deliciously juicy and rich Silvaner, fruity but nicely dry. Creamy and full, with ripe pear, mango and green herbs. Elegant and fine. Serve 11 C. Drink: now until 2020.

Interesting
Silvaner is a typical German grape variety. Originally Austrian but now hardly seen there. It is a spontaneous cross between Traminer and Östereichisch Weiss. In Alsace they write Sylvaner (Alsace used to be German too).
