Traminer, Winkler-Hermaden, Austria . Special, dry white wine from Austria. Wine from the Traminer grape from top winery Winkler-Hermaden. With beautiful aromas of stone fruit (apricot, peach), mint and light wood tones. Fine structure, with beautiful acids, small bitterness and long aftertaste. Exciting wine!
This wine comes from the Grand Cru Ried (vineyard) Kirchleiten , on top of an old volcano. Matured in oak barrels from our own forests. Organic wine from volcanic soil, from idyllic Vulkanland-Steiermark in southeastern Austria.

Winkler-Hermaden makes fantastic dry white organic wine from the Traminer grape. Traminer (Savagnin) is relatively unknown but this grape gives here very special white wine with a lot of minerality and tension. Traminer is also known as Savagnin in the Jura and Savoie.
Organic wine from volcanic soil from Vulkanland-Steiermark. From the Grosse STK-Lage (vineyard) Ried Kirchleiten . Comparable to Grand Cru . STK stands for Steierische Klassik , a local wine quality mark with strict quality requirements.
