Vermentinu, Terra Nostra, Corsica

Vermentinu. Now this is Corsican white! Wine from the Vermentino grape (also known as Rolle in Provence). Delicious as an aperitif, with spicy fish, salads. Wine from the Terra Nostra winery. The vineyards are located in the middle of the island, higher than most vineyards that are found along the coasts and on flatter parts. White wine from France.

Also try the red wine from Terra Nostra, made from Nielluciu, related to Sangiovese.

We have more wines from Corsica , from world famous winemakers: Arena from Patrimonio in the north and from Canarelli (top rosé!!) from Figari in the south. These are real gems of wines, both white, rosé and red. Discover for example the grape varieties Nielluciu, Sciaccarellu and Bianco Gentile. Of course with a higher price tag. Interesting
Vermentinu is called Vermentino on the mainland. The grape produces its own style of wine here, often with more depth and richness. Terra Nostra is made by Vignerons Corsicans, an excellent wine cooperative from Borgo, in the northeast of Corsica.
