Quinta do Montalto, pearl of organic wines
The winery Quinta do Montalto makes affordable organic quality wines. With a distinctive taste but at the same time very accessible. Clean, pure with lots of character. In fact, they are all excellent wines, full of Portuguese temperament.
The vineyards are located north of the capital Lisbon, in an idyllic rolling landscape. Montalto falls under the DO Lisboa . The soil is clay with lime (argilo-calcaire). And the local climate is influenced by the Atlantic Ocean. Montalto cultivates a total of 15.5 hectares of vineyards. And they also make olive oil, jam and other beautiful regional products. Everything is organically certified (ECOCERT).
