Traminer, Winkler-Hermaden, Austria. Special, dry white wine from Austria. Wine from the Traminer grape from top Winkler-Hermaden winery. With beautiful aromas of stone fruit (apricot, peach), mint and light wood tones. Fine structure, with nice acidity, small bitterness and long aftertaste. Exciting wine!
This wine comes from the Grand Cru Ried (vineyard) Kirchleiten, on top of the old volcano. Aged in oak barrels from our own forests. Organic wine from volcanic soil, from idyllic Vulkanland-Styria in southeastern Austria.

Winkler-Hermaden makes fantastic dry white organic wine from the Traminer grape. Traminer (Savagnin) is relatively unknown but this grape gives very special white wine with a lot of minerality and tension. Traminer is also known as Savagnin in the Jura and Savoie.

Organic wine from volcanic soil from Vulkanland-Styria. From the Grosse STK-Lage (vineyard) Ried Kirchleiten. Similar to Grand Cru. STK stands for Styrian Classic, a local wine label with strict quality requirements.
