Authentic, distinctive, rich, and highly complex. Ripe, full, both round and tight, with delicate minerality and acidity, melon, hazelnut, chamomile, chalk, and delicate bitters.
Two years of maturation in 228-liter oak barrels (Burgundy), a third of which are new. Perfectly balanced. Truly exceptional. The very best restaurants fight for it! Unfortunately, Tissot only makes a few hundred bottles.

Clos de la Tour du Curon, a vineyard with mythical status

This white wine comes from a unique, south-facing vineyard, planted by Stéphane Tissot himself in 2002. It boasts a wide genetic diversity of Chardonnay vines. The planting is very dense: 12,000 vines per hectare. This means not only that the vines have to fight for their livelihood, but also that everything is hand-worked ; there's no room for a tractor! That's why Stéphane Tissot works with a horse.

The vineyard is located right next to a tower: the Tour du Curon, north of Arbois. Over the years, Stéphane Tissot has beautifully restored the tower.
Characteristic are the old limestone soils from the Bajocian , dating back to the mid-Jurassic period (170 million years ago). Ideal for Chardonnay, it has a special atmosphere. According to winemaker Stéphane Tissot, this vineyard is indeed comparable to the very best lieu-dits of Burgundy in terms of status and class .
